Yu Wei, male, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, Pudong New Area Scholar, Excellent Teacher of Baosteel Award, Oriental Talent Program (Top Talent), member of Thermal Conductive Composites Specialized Committee, selected in the list of top 100,000 scientists in the world and top 2% scientists in the world, and chairman of New Materials Society of Guang Shu Project supported by SMEC and SEDF. He is mainly engaged in the research of thermophysical properties of low-dimensional materials, solar thermal utilization and carbon neutralization. As the Head of the project, he has undertaken 5 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, as well as many other projects, such as Shu Guang Project supported by SMEC and SEDF, and key projects of scientific research and innovation of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Education Commission. He has received the highest grade of Excellent+ in the final evaluation of two national foundation projects. In the past five years, he has published more than 100 papers, including more than 10 highly cited papers in ESI, with more than 10,000 citations. He has won the First Prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the Second Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award, and the Innovation Achievement Award of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation. The students under his supervision have won the first prize of the National University Students' Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition, the first prize of the Zero Carbon Future Innovation Competition, the first prize of the China Graduate Students' Dual Carbon Innovation and Creativity Competition, the Gold Prize of the International Project, and the Gold Prize of the International Applied Technology Competition.
