From May 11 to May 13, the finalof "Swan Cup" Ninth International Intelligent Agricultural EquipmentInnovation Competition for College Students was held in Shihezi University,with nearly 1,000 college students from 118 colleges and universities participatingin the competition, and 453 pieces of intelligent agricultural equipmentappearing on the final stage. The event is sponsored by the InternationalCommission for Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, ChinaAgricultural Machinery Society, China Agricultural Engineering Society, theprovincial Ministry of Modern Agricultural Equipment and TechnologyCollaborative Innovation Center, the International Union of AgriculturalEngineering Universities, is a national A class disciplinary competition. Withthe theme of "Innovation Empowers Agricultural Equipment, IntelligenceLeads the Future", the competition is of great significance to promotetalent cultivation in the field of agricultural equipment, and enhance theinnovative and practical competence of college students in engineering andapplication.

In the preparation process, underthe guidance of the Graduate School of Energy and Materials, the School ofEnergy and Materials undertook the on-campus selection and preparation for thecompetition, after careful organization and careful polishing, through layersof fierce competition, the "solar desalination agricultural irrigationequipment" directed by Mr. Lei Hui, the students involved in the projectZhu Mingyang, Yue Tingting entered the final, won the second prize. SecondPrize. The project focuses on the shortage of water for irrigation, createsenergy-saving, environmentally friendly, low-cost, low-energy, high-recoveryrate water recycling technology, and builds a new type of solar membranedistillation system integrating photothermal utilization and membranedistillation, realizing the rapid conversion of seawater to fresh water foragricultural irrigation.
