On August 23, 2024, the NationalNatural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the evaluation results ofthe 2024 NSFC projects. The project "Study on the relationship betweenmolecular structure of non-fullerene electron acceptor and device voltageloss" applied by Yongjie Cui from School of Energy and Materials wasapproved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for theyear of 2024.
Biography: Yongjie Cui, graduated from the School of Materialsof Donghua University with a PhD degree, his research interests focus onorganic solar cell research, and he has accumulated a good working foundationin molecular design, theoretical simulation of organic photovoltaic functionalmaterials and their device physics. His research results have been published in30 SCI papers and cited more than 900 times. Among them, 12 SCI papers havebeen published in the mainstream academic journals of Materials Chemistry, suchas Angew.Chem.Int.Ed. and Adv. Mater. as the first (including co-authors) and correspondingauthors, and 4 invention patents have been applied for and 3 have beenauthorized. As the Head of the project, he has undertaken one project of theSpecial Project for Basic Research in Central Universities, one project of theSchool Fund of Shanghai Polytechnic University and one project of the Civic andPolitical Construction Project of the University-level Curriculum, andparticipated in one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) in terms of the Youth Fund and the Upper Level Project as the mainmember.
