Recently, by the Shanghai Municipal Federation of Trade Unions,the Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Office, the Shanghai MunicipalCommittee of the Communist Youth League, the Shanghai Municipal Association ofScience and Technology, the Shanghai Municipal Association of Invention andother units jointly organized by the 36th Shanghai Excellence InventionSelection Competition award results were announced by the selection,evaluation, defense and other links, the School of Energy and Materials, threeprojects were awarded the excellent invention and innovation of the two silverawards and a bronze award.
School of Energy and Materials teacher Wu Xinfeng's "highthermal conductivity three-dimensional carbon fiber composites construction andindustrial application" invention project, innovatively put forward thescientific value of the preparation of high thermal conductivity and highconductive three-dimensional composites of new ideas, and put forward itsthree-dimensional thermal conductivity mechanism, to understand the highthermal conductivity of PAN-based carbon/carbon composites, as well as carbonfibers, carbon bonding points or nickel-coated diamonds and epoxy resininterfacial bonding force on the Composites thermal conductivity, electrical conductivityand mechanical properties of the influence of the law, for a large number ofindustrial production and high-tech areas in urgent need of high thermalconductivity of high-performance composite materials to provide theoreticalguidance for the development of the excellent invention of the Silver Prize.The innovative project "Preparation and Application of NewPhotoelectric/Catalytic Materials with Broad Spectrum Response toSunlight" by Mr. Luping Zhu of School of Energy and Materials was unanimouslyrecognized and highly evaluated by the experts for its strong innovation andapplicability, and won the Silver Prize for Excellent Innovation. The inventionproject of "Development and Engineering Application of Thermochromic SmartWindow" by Mr. Yu Wei from the School of Energy and Materials, the Head ofthe project developed a new type of thermochromic material, designed a modelbuilding system for smart window, verified its energy-saving effect, and wonthe Bronze Award for Excellent Invention.
