On the afternoon of March 24,Professor Wang Liming, Director of the Institute of Irish China Studies,National University of Dublin, Ireland, visited the Institute for inspectionand exchange. The meeting was attended by Sun Yan, President of the School ofInternational Education, Party and government leaders and relevant teachers ofthe School of Energy and Materials, and relevant leaders and teachers of theSchool of Art and Design and School of Economics and Management. The meetingwas chaired by Sun Yan.

Wang Yuanyuan extended a warmwelcome to Professor Wang Liming and gave an introduction to the college interms of its structure, discipline development and faculty. Yu Wei introducedthe main research fields and cooperation between industry, university andresearch institute. Zou Tao and Yu Huan introduced the professionalconstruction and scientific research of the School of Art and Design and theSchool of Economics and Management.

Wang Liming thanked the school forits warm reception, summed up the exchange and cooperation with the school inrecent years, and introduced his work in Ireland.

Afterwards, all the personnel ofthe parties had full exchange and discussion on the areas and modes ofcooperation in the future.

After the meeting, theparticipants visited the laboratory of the Institute.
