On the afternoon of March 24, the Party Committee of the Institute of Energy and Materials held a meeting for the theoretical study center group (expanded) and a meeting for the in-depth implementation of the Eight Provisions of the CPC Central Committee. At the meeting, Chen Yong, Party Secretary of the CPC Committee of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, gave a detailed interpretation of the Implementation Plan for Learning and Education of the Eight Provisions of the CPC Central Committee, and studied and arranged the implementation requirements of the University.

The meeting stressed that we should focus on implementing the spirit of the Eight Provisions of the CPC Central Committee, closely combine the actual work of the Institute, strengthen organization and leadership, tighten responsibility, form a pattern of joint management, and ensure the effectiveness of learning and education. The Party Committee and Party branches of the Institute should improve their political standing, deeply understand the significance of learning and education, and make the same arrangement and implementation of learning and education and business work, so as to ensure full coverage of learning and education without blind spots. We should strengthen supervision and guidance, ensure the implementation of the work, summarize and promote good experiences and practices in a timely manner, select advanced models, and make full use of the WeChat official account, bulletin board and other channels to strengthen the publicity and guidance of the platform.
