At the 20th National Cold Chain Conference and the 17th National Innovation and Development Annual Conference of Refrigeration and Refrigeration Industry hosted by the Chinese Association of Refrigeration and Refrigeration, The project applied by Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, Long-term accurate temperature control and traceable cold chain logistics equipment based on phase change cold storage materials, was selected into the Excellent Innovation Case of Cold Chain Logistics (2025). The awarding ceremony was held ceremoniously in Haikou City, Hainan Province from September 24 to 26, 2025.

The selection was organized by the Refrigeration Transport Committee of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration and Refrigeration, and after rigorous formal review, project defense and expert review, the best achievements representing the leading edge of the industry were finally selected. The Shanghai Second Polytechnic University team stands out with outstanding innovations in phase change energy storage materials, cold chain temperature control technology and traceable equipment research and development.
This honor is not only the recognition of the innovation of the project, but also the full recognition of the team's scientific research ability and the application value of the results. The project leader, Professor Yu Wei, graduate student Wang Yifan and other project members played an important role in the R & D and implementation process, and led the team to break through the bottleneck of traditional cold chain equipment in temperature control, stability and energy efficiency. The technical scheme with characteristics of long-term effect, energy saving and traceability is put forward.


In the future, the team will continue to deepen the integration of research and industry, promote the development of cold chain logistics equipment in the direction of high quality and intelligence, and contribute to the preservation of agricultural products, pharmaceutical cold chain transportation, and energy saving and emission reduction. On this basis, the project team will actively carry out application demonstration, promote the validation and promotion of technologies in actual scenarios, strengthen cooperation with enterprises, governments and industry associations, and promote the formulation of standards and the transformation of results. Provide solid support for the sustainable development of cold chain logistics in China.
