School of Energy and Materials Establishes Industry-University Research Practice Base with Jiangcheng Asset

On the morning of March 27, Wang Yuanyuan, Dean of the School of Energy and Materials, led a team to Shanghai Jiangcheng Asset Management Co., Ltd. to carry out the signing ceremony for the co-construction of the industry-university research practice base, together with the on-site roadshow of students’ “Challenge Cup” projects. As a key initiative of the school to further deepen school-enterprise cooperation, this activity aims to integrate high-quality resources from both sides and realize precise docking between talent cultivation and industrial demands.
Lu Hong, Deputy Director of Jinqiao Economic Development Promotion Center, Jiang Yinjun, CEO of Shanghai Jiangcheng Asset Management Co., Ltd., and other relevant leaders and guests attended the event.
At the ceremony, Director Lu extended congratulations and full support for the in-depth cooperation between the university and the enterprise. In her speech, Jiang Yinjun, CEO of Jiangcheng Asset, stated that the company has long focused on the growth and development of young talents. The co-construction of the industry-university research practice base is an important practice for the enterprise to fulfill social responsibilities and support the development of higher education. She expressed the expectation that both sides would carry out in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research achievement transformation, providing more practical platforms and development opportunities for college students.
Dean Wang Yuanyuan introduced the school’s development history, disciplinary characteristics and achievements in talent cultivation. She pointed out that the integration of industry and education is the core approach to improving the cultivation quality of application-oriented talents. This cooperation marks a crucial step for the school to deepen collaborative education with enterprises. Relying on the new practice base, the school will further connect teaching content with industrial development needs, enabling students to exercise professional competencies and gain practical experience in real industrial scenarios. Subsequently, the two parties officially signed the cooperation agreement and jointly unveiled the “Undergraduate Industry-University Research Practice Base”.
In the following project roadshow session, ten student innovation and entrepreneurship teams from the school presented their scientific and technological innovation projects, fully demonstrating their solid professional foundation and outstanding innovative capabilities. Investment institutions including Pudong Construction, Yuanhe Capital, Yifeng Capital, Shengang Fund, Anwen Capital and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank conducted in-depth exchanges with teachers and students, creating a positive and active academic atmosphere.
The signing ceremony marks a new progress in the school’s industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation work. In the future, both sides will continuously deepen multi-dimensional cooperation, explore new paths for cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents, and empower the all-round growth of college students.
